Blue Fin XII oil on linen 24" x 30" 2005
Recently, Blue Fin XII was accessioned into the permanent collection of the Cahoon Museum of American Art in Cotuit, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Ken Ratner, a curator and collector of American Art, introduced my work to the museum, for which I am grateful. I feel it to be an honor to have my painting chosen to be in the permanent collection of a museum and, thereby, entered into the historical record.

The painting is again of Times Square with its myriad superimposed images reflected on the glass window of the Blue Fin bar; dated, perhaps, by the poster of Cabaret in the upper right corner of the painting. Does it entice you to go on in and have a drink?
